The Munkácsy Mihály Hungarian House had the great honor of once again hosting an event that conveys important historical and spiritual values.
Our lecture, titled “Servant of God János Esterházy: Life and Martyrdom”, was delivered by historian and Esterházy researcher Dr. Imre Molnár, an expert with numerous publications.
Dr. Molnár’s work has played a key role for decades in uncovering the life of János Esterházy, preserving his historical legacy, and making it widely known. Thanks to his research and publications, we now have a much clearer understanding of the path Esterházy walked, faithfully maintaining his beliefs, humanity, and service to his community.
The event began with the screening of the documentary “My Father, János Esterházy”, in which Esterházy’s daughter, Alice, speaks about the suffering endured by her family. This was followed by a supplementary lecture by Dr. Molnár, who shared further insights into the life and work of János Esterházy.
