This evening, we had the pleasure of taking part in a special journey through time at the joint event of the Munkácsy Mihály Hungarian House and the Mukachevo Hungarian Association.

It was a great joy and honor for us to welcome cultural historian Noémi Saly, who guided the audience into the world of historic cafés with her captivating lecture titled “Why Are You Sitting in the Café?”.

During the evening, we gained insight into a unique milieu where ideas were once born, friendships were formed, and the everyday life of the city took shape. The lecture was not only informative and thought-provoking, but also a truly enriching experience for all participants.

We would like to thank our speaker for the inspiring evening, and our guests for honoring us with their presence and for joining us in evoking the atmosphere of café culture.

The evening concluded with an informal discussion and a small reception.
