Date and time

Yesterday, we had the honor of officially opening the solo exhibition of fourth-generation painter Zoltán Gogola at the Mihály Munkácsy Hungarian House.

The guests were first welcomed by József Tarpai, Director of the Mihály Munkácsy Hungarian House. A ceremonial address was delivered by Dr. Ferenc Papp, Consul of the Consulate General of Hungary in Uzhhorod, who emphasized: “Art is capable of what words sometimes no longer can: it preserves our memories, expresses our emotions, and builds bridges between past and present, and between people.” The exhibition was officially opened by Péter Matl, Munkácsy Prize-winning sculptor and President of the Pro Arte Munkács Association.

Zoltán Gogola's artworks reflect the natural beauty, architectural heritage, and spiritual values of Transcarpathia. His paintings preserve his family's artistic legacy while expressing his own unique vision and sensitivity as an artist.

We sincerely thank all our guests for honoring us with their presence and for celebrating together the work of one of the outstanding contemporary artists of Transcarpathia.

The exhibition will be open to visitors at the Mihály Munkácsy Hungarian House until 11 August. We warmly invite everyone to discover Zoltán Gogola's unique artistic world in person.
