The exhibition “The Bokshay Dynasty” opened in a ceremonial yet intimate, family-like atmosphere at the Mihály Munkácsy Hungarian House, presenting the multi-generational legacy of an artistic family. The exhibition is unique in that visitors can explore the work of five artists within a single showcase.

In the main exhibition hall, works by Joseph Bokshay, painter and graphic artist and a defining figure of Transcarpathian fine arts, are on display, alongside paintings by Joseph Bokshay Jr., who continues the family tradition through a contemporary artistic approach. Also featured are the diverse works of Volodymyr Perepadya, sculptor, painter, and graphic artist, as well as the ceramics of Iren Erfan, which harmoniously combine tradition with a modern artistic perspective.

In the gallery hall of the Hungarian House, visitors can view a solo exhibition by Ferents Erfan, painter, whose refined and sensitive visual language complements the exhibition as a whole.
